The brief is to pact a showroom, retail space, makeup and workspace for the photography studio all within a 75-sqm land plot in a low-rise residential area surrounded by “blockhouses” and approached by a narrow 2.5-meter alley.

The Spire 2 Sales Pavilion / playball studio

Commercial buildings hold major importance in the urban fabric of the rapidly developing areas of Rajkot. The brief called for a design of a sales pavilion for ‘The Spire 2’ commercial development at the ring road of the city. The simplicity of the brief and the context provided for various interpretations and explorations. The pavilion had to be quickly assembled for a short amount of time until the proposed commercial development is completely built. The program comprised of basic needs which included a meeting room, site engineer’s office, reception area, a pantry, and a restroom.

Rubio Store / Masquespacio

The RUBIO store, located in the center of Valencia (C/ Sorní, Nº9), the city that RUBIO has called home for over 60 years, is over 200 m2 in size, all designed by Masquespacio with a very recreational and interactive component that invites visitors to delve into the RUBIO universe. Starting with the spacious entrance, framed by bright yellow and blue neon signs, visitors are guided by a large counter towards the area of mathematics, writing and reading workbooks, close to the workshop training area.

Courage Store / Angelina Malysheva

When designing this object, there was not an easy task – to create not a mass-market, to get away from the usual look of a women’s store. Gray but the warm minimalistic interior has become our choice. Concrete floor and ceiling decided to leave the builders. Some walls were left in concrete, and decorative plaster was applied to the rest. Accent colors are gray, pink and dark blue.

Valise Store Union Station / Kilogram Studio

Valise is a retail space nestled in the lower levels of Union Station, Toronto’s historic train station and transit hub. Dating back to the 19th century, Union Station is a Beaux-Arts public building that used resilient materials like stone, brass, cane, and ceramic tile. Valise combines the heritage-protected building with a contemporary retail design for juice brand Greenhouse Juice Co. It takes inspiration from the design of turn-of-the-century suitcases which were lined with fabric and secured with brass hardware.

Lianzhong MODO City Sales Center / JHD Architects

The site is in the middle of Maqiao Qizhong Plate in Shanghai, where holds up a qualified living environment.The site is located at East side of the Yaque River, which is connected to Zhongxiu Road with a modern landscape bridge. The demonstration district references the idea of the middle axis symmetry and harmony of Chinese traditional architectural theory—the axis runs through the central landscape of the sales office and the two plots (A plot and B plot).

Down the Rabbit Hole Store / Kilogram Studio

The design stripped down the existing retail space and exposed 100-year-old masonry walls and plumbing. Scope included the renovation of the existing space for use as co-location of a plant shop and cold-pressed juice store. The design included several millwork fixtures, interior finishes, lighting, new storefront construction, and landscaping. Scope included branding and identity for both clients.
