The building serves as the sale gallery for a condominium project in Bangkok. Due to its proximity to a competitor’s sale gallery, one of the requirements from the Client was that the building must disconnect itself from the competitor. Leaving a generous gap was not an option for functional reasons so the design team decided to angle the building’s orientation away from the main road to create distinction.

The project has a total of 3,400㎡, of which the ground is 1,400㎡. The ground is mainly composed of a community lobby, a previous sales office and the entrance of the underground garage. The 2,000㎡underground area (including swimming pool) mainly includes a sports club.

The Cycle store occupies a strategic position between the city center and the peripheral infrastructures. The store’s implementation unveils the site’s “genius loci” and its kinetic flows. Along the railway a low, long and massive volume is located, echoing locomotives.
Jinji Shangshuli is a high-quality urban residential project located in the east of Nanjing’s city fabrics in adjacent to South Jiefang Road with a total floor area of 35,000 m2 and construction area over 110,000 m2. Due to the readjustment of sales strategy, the former sales showroom’s construction was suspended after the overall framework was finished. After being redesigned, the commissioner of the project hoped to use the showroom as a future exhibition space of modern artworks and a place to hold art salon in order to improve the overall quality and style of the residential project while providing the city with an art exhibition space that is open to the public.
A glass-fronted townhouse designed by MVRDV now serves as a store for luxury fashion brand Hèrmes, with warm-tone interiors by French design agency RDAI. This veteran Madrid-based Publishing Company, in its search for a space that brings closeness to the public, finds a 200 m2 office space with 7 balconies on the street in the southern limit of the Salamanca District, at the junction of Conde de Aranda and Lagasca streets, a few meters away from the Alcalá street and El Retiro park.
Standard Dose, a burgeoning CBD brand, has recently opened a store in New York’s NoMad neighborhood. Designed by SR PROJECTS in collaboration with TUNA, the space features a meditation space, tea bar, beauty counter and sink, and grab-and-go products.
The renovation of a small retail space previously used as a barber in Shirokane, Minato Ward did not occur with any particular request from the owner: except that the location will be used as an apparel showroom several times a year. In addition, the existing walls and ceiling of the space was made in plasterboard, with linoleum floor covering. In order to discover more from this banal space that has no particular feature or use, I decided to proceed and redesign the space while staying on site.
