Casa Leria is located on a seaside plot of land in the municipality of El Tomatal, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca.

Olimpo Nômade is an itinerant city for artists at a music festival. It is the place where musicians prepare before a performance and where they release tension with their peers after the concert or session. It is a lightweight, foldable, transportable, galactic city that, wherever it unfolds, must serve as the background and support for memorable experiences and mythical encounters.

The architectural object in question arises, in part, from reflection and, in part, from criticism of the ways of inhabiting and constructing habitat in contemporaneity. It gains value from the opportunity to think and also allows (us) to rethink the dialectic of the question: How are things done? And even more so: How should we do them?

After four years of intense work, we finished the construction of a house in Mojácar. And to top it off, Javier Callejas, our architect, and photographer, has taken a beautiful photo report that captures the spirit that beats there very well. 

The design is a response to the environmental constraints encountered during the project development. 

The exhibition installation developed jointly with Marria Pratts and presented in Space 13 of the Miró Foundation constitutes an inseparable combination of architecture and painting. This collaboration between artist and architect – which could well be called “The Joint” – stems from the need to transform an underground, worn-out, and mistreated space into a new narrative. 

The magic of a place that receives and transforms restless minds. Transient bodies find this site the perfect refuge to calm or awaken the mind, developing ideas, desires, and dreams.
