From the first moment, this project represented a great challenge for the studio. From its design stage, where the house had to be implanted on an irregular and steep terrain, to the construction stage, as it is located in a small development on one of the highest parts of Tafí del Valle, far from the city and without the possibility of having quick and easy access to resources for construction, both in materials and labor.

Morning Glory: A site-specific art installation at Faena Beach. Paula de Solminihac’s visionary land art installation, “Morning Glory,” took center stage at Faena Beach during Miami Art Week 2022. Composed of partially buried wooden platforms resembling the flowers and leaves of the Morning Glory plant found on the beach, this large-scale and site-sensitive installation fostered a profound connection between humans and nature, inviting endless interactions and contemplations.

A place declared a national monument for its historical value and preservation of colonial architecture. An area with enormous tourist potential, but with severe deficiencies in connectivity and services.
