Standard Dose, a burgeoning CBD brand, has recently opened a store in New York’s NoMad neighborhood. Designed by SR PROJECTS in collaboration with TUNA, the space features a meditation space, tea bar, beauty counter and sink, and grab-and-go products.

Salvage Swings City of Dreams Pavilion / Somewhere Studio

Salvage Swings is a cross-laminated timber pavilion built on Roosevelt Island by the Arkansas based architecture practice Somewhere Studio led by Jessica Colangelo and Charles Sharpless, AIA. The project was the winner of the 2019 City of Dreams annual international design competition and served as the center piece of the FigmentNYC arts festival.

Providencia Chapel / S-AR

Samsun Multipurpose Hall / CAA.Studio

Samsun ‘’Multipurpose Hall’’ is built on the traces of the demolished Samsun Hotel’s ‘’Ballroom’’. Old Samsun ‘’Ballroom’’ building had hosted lots of different events like wedding ceremonies. It also had took a place in people’s life. Preserving and maintaining it’s place in the urban memory is aimed at the project. The Building is situated between Samsun Ataturk Cultural Center and ‘’İlkadım ‘’ Monument in city center. The green coastline, where the building is located, has some buildings which hosting social and cultural events.

Studio 45 / Marston Architects

STUDIO 45 is a new work space for Marston Architects in Manly. Set within a heritage terrace house, care was taken to restore the external facade with original features. Internally the space has been divided into two distinct zones separated by a plywood utility box containing a concealed kitchen and associated storage space.

The building is projected through passive strategies. A patio to southeast generate a microclimate that give a constant temperature to the rooms, with a different porch that control the solar incidence.

Garanti Bank BBVA Technology Campus / ERA Arch

Located between major highways of Istanbul, D-100 and TEM, in the proximity of Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Pendik, Istanbul, the project transforms an old industrial chemical factory land into a technology company campus for one of the most dynamic Turkish banks. Inspired by the natural topography around the site and the desire of creating a clear contrast to the surroundings’ unorganized urban fabric; a crystal volume as the main working environment is lying gently over several artificial hills sheltering various functions such as two 600 and 200 seats auditoriums, educational meeting spaces, cafeterias, lounges on bridges, data center and many other functions.
