Sited on the crest of a hill overlooking Lone Tree, Colorado, Serra is a restaurant housed in a purpose-built, ground-up building designed to capture views, and create a dynamic dining experience. Combining classic building forms like the A frame and the courtyard, it makes a timeless, modern statement.

Combining classic building forms like the A frame and the courtyard, it makes a timeless, modern statement.

Trusting in our studio, Salva and Pablo commissioned us with the project for the relocation of their restaurant. For this purpose, an old corner house with no architectural value is chosen, located in a low-rise building area. This new location makes it possible to house the new restaurant in its own building, which allows all the advantages that its old premises did not have. The project covers the demolition of the old building and the construction of a new one. Whenever there is a change of business, there is a need to improve the existing, so the main starting point of the project was to solve all the problems that the old location had without affecting the main features of the restaurant. For this we thought, given that this new location had space, to change the concept of entry to the restaurant by having a patio and, at the same time, a secondary entrance to solve the public-private communication problems that many restaurants have.

It was an honor for us to be invited from southwest of Guizhou province between spring and summer, to transform a single building which is in the middle of city center. After transforming, this building will be used for drinks and snacks cafeteria. Yep, we come here again. Coincidently, we had finished two remaking projects, while this time, the owner is the local friends around our age, and they hoped us to finish a powerful space transforming. Finally, we started our journey to the southwest of Guizhou with curiosity and hope

Situated in Marmari, Kos, in a setting surrounded by palms, Caravia Beach Junior Suites and Restaurant, is an extension to an existing hotel. The Suites and the restaurant are organically connected via a large outdoor pool and deck network, on the water.

There is a large-scaled building enough to overwhelm one side of residential area at Nonhyun-dong, Gangnam-gu. However somehow, no sign or notice seems to meet the eyes. After moving along the accessing stairs, the seers are captivated by a secret atmosphere as if they steal a glance at a hidden garden. In the garden, the composedness to purify their mind coexists with the dynamic to remind of tropical jungle. ‘ㄷ’-shaped large interior space makes our eyes busy. People enjoying food and tea, fresh fruits and organic beverages placed appetizingly next to them, green plants and unique daily goods… Although many elements are too intricate to classify as a specific space, it feels comfortable and relaxed exquisitely. It is just the power of Moss Garden’s first impression.

Mar@Co restaurant is located in Jaffa’s Flee market. Thanks to its proximity to Jaffa’s Port, the restaurant takes its inspiration from fresh fish and seafood.
