Bofia_The Tiled Cloud is an updated design to the typically unapologetic, blunt, and straightforward style of the common “Bofia”, a term coined in Saudi Arabia for the local canteens famous for serving quick, local, and reasonably priced street food. The Tiled cloud is Azaz Architect’s take on finding architectural solutions and material identities for modern-day upscale Bofia.

This burger restaurant is located at the Brasilia International Airport. The airport exterior food court was created in 2020 to join the pick-up and drop-off area.

Located 10 km from Miercurea Ciuc, in the heart of the Harghita mountains, this project responds to a specific request: the design of a pavilion for families and children at the base of the ski slope. We intended to answer this question in a simple manner.

Within a deep valley, a calm lake, fed by constant rain, develops into a dazzling stream. At Sakleshpur, Karnataka, a site abutting this lake, surrounded by mesmerizing vegetation and fauna, provides an immersive experience in the real world. Situated in the historical neighborhood of Blok M this restaurant is trying to embed itself in the hustling-bustling context. Blok M area, known as Little Tokyo because of the strong presence of Japanese-owned businesses in the vicinity, is going through a rapid revitalization to bring back its past time glory as a popular destination for young people and tourists in the 80’s. The face of the Blok M area was dominated by modernist buildings from the ’60s and ’70s. The modernization of Blok M in recent years but the original face of this area behind pastiche design represented with glass curtain walls and colorful aluminum panels.

This urban minimalist pizzeria is located in Bila Tserkva, a small town in Ukraine. The main concept was to create a clear minimalistic space, at the same time make it warm and attractive for visitors. The work on the project began with the selection of materials. We liked the combination of natural red stone and facade tiles the most. An important task was to achieve a warm, pleasant atmosphere through color and contrast. The palette of the project is pretty simple — gray walls, bright ocher brown tiles, red granite, and bare steel.
