The Car Park is part of a bigger project called Treed it, located in the Cité Descartes in Champs-sur-Marne, a new district bringing together companies, schools, research and expertise centers with an international dimension, working for the sustainable city.

“THE ROCK” is a new hospitality building designed for Radisson´s recently launched lifestyle hospitality brand, Radisson RED. The hotel, which is the first of its kind in the German-speaking region, can be found at both a physical and social junction in Vienna’s 2nd district. The semi-public building houses 179 rooms, an event space, a publicly accessible rooftop bar, and terrace, a courtyard, a restaurant, and a gym.

What is the most important while building a house in a small area? The search for a solution has come to the following goals this time: one floor, functionality, aesthetics – its integrity, humane scale, contextuality, a combination of internal and external spaces, compatibility between openness and privacy, physical and emotional comfort, spatial and volumetric alterations (dynamics).

Kali is one of the largest settlements on the Adriatic islands located on the island of Ugljan near the city of Zadar, Croatia. The village is best known for fishing. The project brief was to design two vacation houses on one of the few vacant lots situated between two roads with a height difference of 21 m in the longitudinal section. The challenge was to design a unified space, which would fulfill a multitude of the contemporary user’s heterogeneous needs, and at the same time, to create the feeling of living „with the sea at the seaside“.

With a mix of contemporary and iconic, walking the line between public and private, between a store and a home, the space translates the brand’s deeply personal approach into a sensorial experience. Aparterre was envisioned more as a private residence with the doors wide open for fashion enthusiasts and design lovers: a space where you feel at home surrounded by beautiful apparel, special objects, and a myriad of colors and textures.

Located in Lana’s beautiful historic old town, we find the Egger family’s home. To the West, the three-story house faces a small town square that is charmingly beset on all sides by testimonials of history. In fact, it was in 1908 that Wassily Kandinsky himself, during a stay in Lana, paid tribute to this square in a painting, which also portrays this building.

Finnish architect Juhani Pallasmaa once said that “architecture is essentially an extension of nature into the man-made realm, providing the ground for perception and the horizon of experiencing and understanding the world.”

In the constant hustle and bustle of the modern surroundings, it is more than needed to take a step back and listen to the sounds of something as calmly powerful as nature. Moreover, listening to the beautiful harmonies created by birds chirping and sound waves can make our inner voice louder as well.
