Living between the concrete as furniture. The beginning of the design was born in a conversation with the client. ” Living in a diverse that responds to time so that the entire site can be used up.” We designed a house where the concrete foundation can divide the space by standing up on the site as furniture to trigger a place to stay.

Villa Topos is a summer house project located on a limestone hill that overlooks the Paşalimanı Bay of  İzmir in the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The design takes inspiration from the sharp topography of the surroundings, transforming into a simple geometric structure that settles in the Aegean landscape. Villa Topos is buried into the topography to extend the relationship with the earth and to climatize the complete structure with zero operational carbon emission. The building develops terraces in the continuation of abstract topography lines in order to multiply the structure-ground encountering, increase the open areas, and break the western sun to optimize the access.

Moln Store / CASE-REAL

The interior design project for the travel brand “moln”. The word “moln” derives from the Swedish word meaning “cloud,” and reflects the desire to be a presence that is softly felt anywhere on earth, changing with place, time and air, just like those clouds that hover in the sky when one suddenly looks upwards on a journey. In response to this brand concept, we believed that a contrasting space that is both light yet strong like the ground would be a good place to receive the light products of “moln” (=cloud).

Greige Interior Design Inspiration

We lived harmoniously with beige as a light and warming base colour and celebrated grey as a cool and moody successor. Now, all attention is on greige, a portmanteau of colours grey and beige. This versatile new neutral is subtly warmer than the shadowy tones that have come to dominate laconic interiors recently but somewhat […]
