Cloud of Blue Mist Installation / Onlyonly Studio

Cloud of blue Mist is a public object located in the Baltic state – of Latvia, on the southern outskirts of the capital city Riga. Where two vast and dense neighborhoods Imanta and Zolitude filled with multi-household buildings. Two neighborhoods together are home to more than 60 thousand people. Historically these two city areas have been split and separated by railway paths, and biologically rich meadows with high-growing trees.

The Upper House / HYJA

The building is in Jakarta, sitting on an 800 square meter plot of land. The first and second-story buildings were used as a production area, warehouse, and office of the owner’s workshop. Based on this layout plan, the upper house was designed according to the structure below that was already fixed according to the layout plan. We create a module column that transfers vertically into the divider wall of the upper house. The elevation of the building was made modest, wearing black slate skin stone and wood-like material as secondary skin to reduce heat from the west sun. A little opening was made to allow a view from the balcony of the office area.

Landscape Public Toilet of Liangzi Lake / UPA

Liangzi Lake is the second largest freshwater lake in Hubei, where the perennial smoke is mixed with water and the sky. In order to revive the key tourism status of Liangzi Lake eco-tourism scenic spot, it is funded by Hubei Tourism Investment Group to upgrade Liangzi Lake scenic spot to 5A scenic spot. The supporting facilities of the scenic spot will be comprehensively upgraded, and the AAA landscape public toilet is one of the first key upgrading projects, and it is also one of the image facades of the scenic spot wharf.

off.o is a cafe located in Busan, South Korea. The overall floor area of 588.17 square meters spreads on two-floor levels. The entrance is located on the first level, which is a complex of 3 separate buildings. Located in the center building, the entrance greets customers with a cafe and bakery reception, while two annex buildings offer different types of seating spaces. Along with the lower level which also grants customers a diverse spatial experience, the project pursues to provide customers with a relaxed yet intriguing spatial experience throughout the space.

The N M Bodecker Foundation / Skylab Architecture

The NM Bodecker Foundation was established in 2017 by Sandy Bodecker to provide creative communities with a dynamic mix of in-person spaces for workshops, gatherings, and collaboration. Housed in a collection of repurposed 1950s-era warehouses and a former parking lot in northwest Portland, the Foundation occupies what was originally conceived as Bodecker’s creative home. Bodecker was inspired by the sense of discovery that comes from the journey and of seeing things in new ways; his analog was that of a labyrinth and the building is an embodiment of that idea.
