BGA is a corporate building situated on а corner lot, in a close distance to the Municipality building in the central part of Varna. It is designed to correspond entirely to the needs of the company. The concept of the building is to serve not only as headquarters, but also to be the “home” of a successful business. That is why the ascending direction of success is encoded in the white elements on the building’s façade.

Generali Tower is within the CityLife masterplan that has redeveloped Milan’s abandoned trade fair grounds following the fair’s relocation to Rho Pero in 2005. Located above the new Tre Torri station on Line 5 of the city’s metro system, CityLife opens the 90-acre site to year-round public use for the first time; providing new civic spaces, public parks and residential areas, in addition to shopping districts and corporate offices.

This is the privileged setting chosen by Juan Diego Erhart’s BIO Empreendimentos, a sustainable real estate developer, along with local architecture firm PITTA Arquitetura, for the creation of a model sustainable home. Designed to inspire neighboring residents to adopt greener living and homebuilding, this project is also the platform for future constructions.

Promise at Dawn, Center of Emergency Accommodation / AIR + Moon Architecture

The City of Paris decided to create a Center of Emergency Accommodation for homeless in the Bois de Boulogne, next to the most expensive neighborhood of Paris. The project was very political and met a strong resistance by the wealthy inhabitants of the 16th Arrondissement of Paris who didn’t want at first to have any “poor or refugees” in their neighborhood. Every legal and illegal moves were made, including two fire during the construction. After being opened, the inhabitants finally changed their mind and were very happy to have those “nice new people” in their neighborhood, flooding them with gifts and clothes…

Stone House / NOMO STUDIO

Stone House is located on a hillside facing the north coast of Minorca, Spain. This new dwelling is built with the same technique and material as the ancient limestone walls enclosing most of the farmlands on the island. Its sequence of superimposed stone layers (facade and fences) blend architecture and landscape into each other. This symbiosis is further strengthened by the fact that the facade’s stone was fully collected from the onsite excavation for the villa’s foundation.
