The site is located in a developing residential quarter in the outskirts of Granada surrounded by new buildings and facing a wide avenue. All business nearby are newly implanted and lacking character. There is not an intense pedestrian life in this neighborhood so it is crucial to be easily spotted from the passing vehicles during both day and nighttime.

In an old house with extensive grounds and with two entrances, taking into account the location of existing trees and orientation, we project a small building with commercial areas for rent. With little budget, we decided to split and take over the garden (on the edge of higher vehicular influx) about 400 square meters.

Top Floor Renovation of World Expo Joint Pavilion No.3 / DUTS Design

Recently, DUTS Design completed a new working space design in Huangpu District. This project locates in the southern part of the Urban Best Practice Area, pervious Expo field of the Puxi, next to Huangpu River and Power Station of Art Museum. The landscape and cultural resources surrounding this area are abundant. This design redefines the interior functionality.  It is a multiuse space that contains the capacity of conferences, exhibitions, shows, roadshows, and parties. This space is also pointing to meet various requests from two companies that come from different fields of enterprises.

The commission was a clothing store located in a new shopping area in the city of La Plata, Argentina. An old house with structural damage was replaced with a simple industrial vessel that provides great flexibility for the sales area. The work develops through three elements, the facade, the interior and the patio. The facade rebuilds the skyline of the block and configures a plane of solar control at the top and windows display and public access in the lower part.
