Restoration

Torre de Cbrilla is a watchtower with a practically square floor plan, measuring 6.70 x 7.32 meters, its longest side corresponding to the entrance facing south. It consists of two floors and a roof terrace. Built with intervals of masonry and stone slabs, with buttresses made up of rope and blight ashlars. The four facades have cruciform engravings.

Reforma TA consists of the rehabilitation of a humble and deteriorated family home of more than 30 years. Its constructive and spatial qualities were compromised by the passage of time and opposed to the contemporary requirements of functionality and comfort requested by the client. The project presented various budgetary, technical and connotative challenges from the start, since in addition to solving leaks, humidity, subsidence of floors, cracks and poorly arranged enclosures within a reasonable cost, we had to consider that the users of the house would be a blind person with their elderly mother. This framed our criteria of accessibility, luminosity, spatial fluidity, appropriate handling of colors, textures, etc.

The gangway is in Taverne and connects the industrial area and the railway station with the right bank of the river. The footbridge is a cycle/pedestrian passage included in the national route of the N3 cycle paths (North-South axis), included at the European level in the Eurovelo 5-via Romea Francigena route.

A Masia is a rural building that is generally isolated and linked to family farms and/or livestock farms. They have been widespread across eastern Spain and the South of France for many centuries.

We were struck by our clients’ unflinching belief in their vision and destiny when they imagined the Teloneio as their second home. They recognized the potential for restoration instantly, while also seeing themselves as custodians of an important historical monument.

The architectural intervention in the Ancestral Church of Fraião, in Braga, Portugal, is an intervention of analysis and decision. An analysis of the degradation state of the latest interventions carried out at the beginning of the 20th century. The coatings and extensions made with painted cement mortars, both inside and outside the main church, reinforced the decision to uncover its original characteristics by removing the degraded coatings.

Relaxation in the middle of the Alps surrounded by picturesque mountains. This dream has become reality with Chalet D in the Austrian Alps. Chalet D was designed as a holiday chalet including a spa area, where several friendly families can spend their holidays together.

This project consists of the full refurbishment of a 16th-century farmhouse located on the top of a hill in Muruzábal de Andión, Navarra, Spain. In a captivating environment due to its impressive historical value as a result of the ensemble, it forms with the Romanesque hermitage and the roman stela embedded in the facade. 

The rehabilitation of the former Rotation Workshops was guided by a desire to restore, with respect, this built heritage that reflects the history of the site and the town, in line with the programming desired by the Municipality of Verson (cultural center, multi-purpose hall and association spaces).
