The project is a new Blower House Complex on the Athlone Wastewater Treatment Works just outside Cape Town. On the Ground floor, the complex consists of a large blower room with its Motor Control Centre (MCC room) and air plenums, an MCC for the future upgrade’s reactors, locker rooms for the ground staff, a laundry room, and stores.
The project arises from the need to expand and organise the production line for automotive armor, a task of Blinsecurity of Colombia. Located in the town of Barrios Unidos, in the San Fernando neighbourhood in the west of the city of Bogotá, in a mixed-use area where the development of small and medium-sized companies with tendencies toward the automotive sector predominates.
The project is conceived as a space to house the coffee roasting process and then as a cafeteria where the coffee be consumed in its different variants and formats. Located on a corner that borders an avenue and a street, it was originally a car repair shop. It is a large space without interior divisions, with an L-shaped floor plan where its two sides contain a double-height space inward.

The 500-square-meter former storage hall for granulated sugar, now dubbed “Bonbon Town,” is located on the former Yu Lan Sugar Factory grounds in an up-and-coming industrial district of Zhangzhou, China. Shaded by a light Arish structure, Bahraini weavers use to dig a hole in the ground to fit their legs. By this simple action, the ground was transformed into an endless table to tense the wires needed for their delicate work. Arish is a traditional building technique using the dry leaves of the date palms and weaving them into strong surface. As such, both the textile and the architecture protecting the artisans were weaved onsite.
