Base4Work Bratislava / Studio Perspektiv

December 19, 2021 Valeria Silva 0

There are only a few buildings with industrial history left in Bratislava. And there are even fewer of those that have managed to adapt to the current needs. But this is not the case with the functionalist heating plant by architect Dušan Jurkovič. Redesigned by Penta Real Estate and the Perspektiv studio, it has been opened to the public after a three-year renovation as a modern coworking center – Base4Work. Known for its sophisticated office projects, the Perspektiv architectural studio has completed the second branch of the Base4Work co-working center inside the Bratislava industrial monument – the first one is located in Prague’s Churchill complex.

House in Baião / Traço Alternativo Arquitectos Associados

December 14, 2021 Valeria Silva 0

This house is located in a bucolic setting where green vegetation predominates and small-scale buildings can be found, scattered across the land. Winding hills set the limits, north, and south. The house was built upon ancient ruins, which, contrary to this new house, never had the ambition to rise above and contemplate the hilltops or the landscape, mainly untouched by men.

Osteria Betulla / DA bureau

December 11, 2021 Valeria Silva 0

Osteria ‘Betulla’ is the second project of a talented chéf Arslan Berdiev, the founder of the sensational restaurant Birch. Both ‘Birch’ and ‘Betulla’ are translated into Russian as “a birch”. But whereas ‘Birch’ is based on pan-European culinary traditions, ‘Betulla’ focuses on the Italian cuisine. The concept of osteria Betulla relies on simple Italian food in the original version with an emphasis on high quality of products. An important feature of all Arslan’s projects is perfectionism and unexpected serving of dishes, in a manner surprising for the guests, which is reflected in the osteria’s cuisine.

Location. The CAS property is located on a 170m2 small piece of land between dividing walls in the Sixth Section of the Capital City, province of Mendoza, Argentina. The immediate context is characterized by the consolidated urban area of low-rise houses, a large alluvial channel that serves as protection for the summer rainy season and a linear park with luxuriant vegetation, and the new tram rails that connect the city in a north-south way. Although it is a small piece of land, it has its singularity: a double facade consisting of a dead-end passage to the south and a main high-traffic avenue to the north.

Pediatric Dentistry Clinic Isabel Cadroy / Vitale + Font Arquitectura

December 10, 2021 Valeria Silva 0

The interior design project for the pediatric dentistry clinic of Dr. Isabel Cadroy begins with a new communication strategy to strengthen the positioning of the business. The new premises and the renewal of the brand represent the beginning of a new stage that consolidates its competitive advantage as a clinic dedicated exclusively to pediatric dentistry and orthodontics for children and adolescents. For the doctor, it was important that the clinic be friendly and welcoming, but without falling into a childish aesthetic. And to be able to transform stress and fear, common in visits to the dentist, into confidence and tranquility. Vitale designs a corporate space that connects with all the public of the clinic and recreates a positive, familiar, comfortable and calm environment.
