Apartments

The project is located in a hollow at the edge of a forest bordering the Route de la Louviere in Presinge. The land slopes towards the northwest and the entrance to the site is via the lower end of the plot, on an internal road that also serves an EMS (a medico-social center) at the upper end. The compact nature of the volume allows for superb views of the surrounding greenery. Access to the apartments is via the private road along which is installed an access ramp leading to the parking area. The basement contains parking spaces, cellars, a civil protection shelter, and utility rooms.

Aveo Bella Vista is, in a way, the first of its’ kind. The design for this 10 storey residential apartment building (containing approximately 2700m3 of CLT) breaks the mould of the typical mass timber designs we have seen coming out of Europe and being realized internationally over the last decade. Originally conceived as a conventional build, Aveo were guided by Jackson Teece and Stongbuild to incorporate CLT into the design, to demonstrate industry leadership.

The design task of our project CC Residence, similar to most of other housing projects in Hochiminh City, Vietnam is to find a solution to comfortable living condition in a high populated urban area in the tropics. The house is to serve its owner by creating a shelter not only to protect the people from the hot, humid and highly solar-radiated tropical weather, but also to create as much space as possible as well as to provide an enjoyable living atmosphere.

‘Duporth’ is the first stage of the Masterplanned Retirement Village, Kingsford Terrace. Located in Corinda, it will create a community of over 300 residents when completed. This first stage includes extensive ground floor community facilities, 54 apartments and 18 care studios. The main address of the building is adorned with large brick screen wings. The scale of these screens are in proportion with the surrounding site, and provide a highly crafted and welcoming entry that marks the Duporth building as the hub, and offers some insight as to the scale of the community within.

The site is located between a 25 m wide road to the north and a 12 m road to the south. In addition, the site is located in the newly built new city.The 25-meter wide road centered on the vehicle is a psychological boundary between the new city and the residential neighborhood of the northern suburbs.
