The “Casa da Lavand’eira,” a rural tourism venture, is an eighteenth-century manor house situated within a farm featuring vineyards and a lush forest. The main house is a granite-built manor with a chapel, a hall, various rooms, a kitchen with a traditional fireplace, and bedrooms. Throughout the property, other buildings have been adapted to serve as accommodations.

In the ancient center of a village by the sea, a centenary house was built leaning against the medieval defensive wall. This building grew by adding and suppressing spaces to the depth of the old wall, which was the starting point of the project. The intervention did not intend to sum area to the existing, but to invent new spaces inside the building, while convoking its own medieval spirit.
“The lot is flat, with an area of 447m² at a corner.” This is how the land was presented in the first meeting we had with the couple who owns it. A young couple with no children approached our office with a demand for a larger house and a generous relaxation area. The requested program included a private area with 3 suites and contiguous social and leisure areas, all on one floor.
Implanted a few meters from the beach, in a residential condominium in Ubatuba, north coast of São Paulo, Residence CCL was designed to be integrated with the exuberant nature of the location. The use of natural materials, large spans, and lots of transparency provided great integration with nature, which became the strong point of the project. The architectural solutions adopted in the project were designed considering the climatic characteristics of the location (tropical, hot, and humid climate), always seeking to create spaces with quality and energy efficiency.
In a rural area, a pilgrim’s path crosses a hill inhabited by few houses and many trees. At the top, there is the plot, beautifully contemplating views and nature. The intention of planting a garden came first, the house was created to enjoy this garden.
Located in Vila Madalena, the 110m² apartment received a partial intervention focused on the social area. Developed for a couple, she is French and he is Brazilian, with two small children, the property gained a farmhouse proposal, with historical memories of architecture and decoration, in addition to conveying a cozy, tranquil sensation that this rustic style transmits.
The doors invite you to enter a House with History, in a magical, ancestral, and bourgeois atmosphere of the 1920s. We are in 1923, in a very rare building and a unique example of Art Nouveau in the city of Faro. The present project intends to recover, restore, and expand the existing building, through a deep rehabilitation, simultaneously restoring the exterior and interior and the use of the roof area.
Located in the Municipality of Moita, 40 km south of Lisbon, the Santa Rafaela Maria Foundation is a charity established in 1992 to oversee and develop social projects with families and children. With a focus on prevention of school drop-out, it daily assists approximately 70 children and teenagers with learning impairments, mostly coming from destitute families and dysfunctional environments. In addition, it assists social welfare with child protection and monitoring, economic funding to families in vulnerable situations, and parental training, in addition to emigrants’ integration.
