Project background
The project is located at Sha Cheng, the center of Hualai city in the province he Hebei, China. 120km way from Beijing and at an altitude of 550m above sea level, the site is at a place where there are great mountains, nice air and extremely bright sun.  The place is also famous its frequent and heavy wind.

The Stage of Forest at Songhua Lake Resort of Jilin, China, is situated on a hillside between the forest and the slope. 

Intervention
Hangzhou Gudun Road Primary School, built as the Liangzhu Cluster in the northwest of Hangzhou is positioned as a 36 class public primary school. The southwest and southeast sides of the land are main roads and secondary roads of the city and the northern, western and southern sides of the land are used for high rise residential buildings, forming a high density and homogeneous urban space. The architects hope to take the construction of the primary school as an opportunity in providing basic education supporting facilities in shortage and building an “urban oasis” in the tense surrounding cement forests, so as to create a relaxed learning and recreation places for the community and students.

The aim was to create an elegant and welcoming space, introducing a personal western/eastern fusion style, combining features from the Southern Italy’s Masseria and South East Asian Countries interiors. The design is tailored on the owner personality, a tasteful lady with the hobby of traveling and the love of coffee. 

The project is located in Nantou village of Shenzhen, is part of the urban village space renovation plan by SHUM YIP LAND INVESTMENT & DEVELOPMENT CO.LTD (SHENZHEN). The aim of the project is to take the renewal space as the medium, then introduce the diversified cultural and activity factors into the village. The reconstructed building will be used by the ENCLAVE INDEPENDENT BOOKSHOP, which is mainly based on operates of poetry publishing, art exhibitions and exchange speeches.

The workstation locate south of the Site of XANADU Park(the ruin of the Yuan Dynasty Upper Capital), consists ticketing, security, management offices, resting and tourists’ lavatories for the park, and is part of the Site’s application to become a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Architecture locates on one side of XANADU axis as a cluster.

The project is located in the core of old town Beijing. Close to Zhang Zi-zhong road, the ancient charm and modern style of the government add radiance and beauty to each other, which is incredibly fun.
