Under the impact of modern urbanization, the decline of rural areas has become an unavoidable reality. Mix Architecture was commissioned by Jiangshan Fishing Village in Gaochun of Nanjing to meet the basic needs of indigenous peoples for modern functions and cultural life, and formulated a rural renewal plan. The first phase of the Plan consists of two parts, namely the renovation of the vacant old homes and the construction of rural public facilities.

#24 Cathay Restaurant, innovatively redesigned by Jaco Pan of Minggu Design, is located at Guochuang Park in Nanjing City, China. This historical park is adjacent to Ming Great Wall on the west and Qin Huai River on the east. The site had originally been the Silver Dollar Bureau of Jiangnan Region in the late 19th century before transformation to work as the Secondary Machine Tool Plant Nanjing in the 1950s.Extending nearly 130-year industrial context, this place’s been maintained and updated after the public realization of the reversion of old relics. Today, it’s become a foundation developing culture and creation in the local.
As an attempt to expand the brand, the client Lost&Found decided to open its latest offline store in Chaoyang Hopson One Shopping Mall. C+ Architects has been entrusted with interior design work.

Artron (Shanghai) Arts Center is reconstructed from Shanghai Towel 16th Factory. The overall reconstruction is base on the principle of maximum reservation and taking advantage of original space, which is fully considered about the convenience and economical efficiency of construction. The combination of original industrial spatial scale and atmosphere with new design is another benefit of reservation in this reconstruction.
This multi-function hall is located at the center of the architectural complex of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and has always been one of the largest single-storey indoor spaces in the academy. Before the renovation, it was a school history museum, but the original interior space was too old to be used for modern teaching.
Discovering Taiwan is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the History of the collections of the National Taiwan Museum, the History of the Natural and Aboriginal Treasures of Taiwan, and the History of Japanese Researchers who built this institution one century ago. The exhibition scenography links this past to the future by questioning the prospect of cultural heritage through 367 pieces including 265 of the most important pieces from the Museum’s collection, facing sculptural, video and sound installations created by contemporary Taiwanese artists.
