The project we designed is a teahouse that specifically provides non-pesticide tea. It is located in Hangzhou, China.
The site is located at the junction of the old and new villages, north of Dongziguan affordable housing in Fuyang.The project, as a public venue for villagers’ activities, takes the local regional culture as its unique background, and strives to create a “Vitality Source” for villagers to jointly build and share.
The Nanjing Museum is inside Zhongshan Gate, at the foot of Purple Mountain, edging along the old city wall in the east. The construction of the main exhibition hall (commonly known as the Old Main Hall) in the original building started in 1935, but was interrupted by the Anti-Japanese War before being completed in 1952; an art exhibition hall was added in 1999. Phase II of the reconstruction and expansion project was initiated in 2004.

Tucked below the foothills of the Luo Fu Shan range, in Sichuan, China, lies Fushengyu Hot springs Resort. A visit to Sichuan isn’t necessary to realize the stunning beauty of the region (but we definitely recommend it!) but from our first visit, it was clear the landscape would be a great influence on the site and its design.

A bright, future focused user center for a forward thinking electric car brand. NIO asked us to design their Beijing CBD user center – the first of its kind – and benchmark design for all their future NIO House in mainland China. In Chinese, the brand is called Wei Lai, which translates to ‘blue sky coming’. For NIO, this isn’t just a pretty turn of phrase, it is a fundamental philosophy – a commitment to a better future. This is a brand about driving forward, and getting there through innovation with integrity and style. Customers should not only feel good about buying and owning a car, but that when they drive a NIO, they are joining its community.
The old town of Lijiang in Yunnan province, where tradition and modernity, tranquility and hustles co-exist, produces an elegant and creative gathering place for homestay hotels. Among the scattering design practices, Li Man·Shen Mi Ji hotel is a special isolated existence. Its modern ink painting style brings the most poetic and innovative annotation for a renovation space.
Fushengyu Hotspring Resort is located in the north of Sichuan at the foot of the Luo Fu Shan mountain range. Tree-capped mountains dotted with temples pleasantly surround the site. It is a place where water has shaped the land. Rivers have carved out the valley and water naturally springs from the earth in warm water wells. It is one of China’s traditional hot spring areas.
The City Wall Museum is designed and built on the remains of the ancient city wall which locates on the east side of ancient city’s south gate (QuiGuang Gate). The ancient city wall was the remnant of Ming Dynasty and was buried for more than 600 years. Ancient Xuzhou, back to the dynasty of YU, has over 2600 years of city-construction history.
