2017 Mix Architecture was commissioned by Chun Qin Yuan Ecological Farm, the north of the Yizheng City ecological Farm in a sun shed for the renovation design.

Composed of three distinct fluid forms, each represents inspiration from the three Chinese calligraphy strokes: the thick ink, the half-dry and the smearing, the Palace Museum Southern Branch will present itself as an ink-dark, sensuous sculptural form sitting within the surrounding green rice and sugar cane fields.

Whenever I interview a candidate in recent years, if he often mentions the so called shape, I will not employ him in most occasions. In my opinion, he must have been heavily poisoned by fashion. As a comprehensive expression of design, architecture is a systematical job rather than art of shape. In order to clarify design is more than art of shape, I intentionally pay little attention to shape in last several projects. Meanwhile, I tried my best to maintain a low profile in my design and spent even more time and energy on highlighting the space and experience of people. Huateng Hog House Rural Library is such a try.

Located in the new district in the southwest of the city, Shangqiu Museum is designed for the collection, display and exhibition of the local historical relics, the urban evolution and the cultural history of Shang Dynasty.The overall layout and the spatial sequence of the museum are the coherence and recreation of the typical forms and characters of Guide which represents ancient city of Huangfan.

Meijie Mountain Hotspring Resort is located in Liyang, China. The resort hides itself in the city’s most beautiful Longtan Forest, which is lying between Tianmu Lake and Nanshan Bamboo.

Compared with the mass development of cities in the recent three decades, the Chinese villages rooted in traditional agriculture civilization still maintain the overall rural spatial characteristics of “architecture with no architects “, presenting a kind ofnative order under the traditional social background. .Now, this spontaneous state is encountering clashes from urban civilizations. The LEIHouse is a typical case with reference value. The house is located in Shanyinwu village in Tonglu County in Hangzhou, not far from the administrative center of the town. Most of the houses in the village have been rebuilt in recent ten years and belong to the typical “new rural” style. From an architectural prospective, traditional architectural features that can characterize this area are hard to be seen.

The V house of Cha’er Hutong is located in a courtyard house of Beijing Dashilar. The ‘V’ of the V house was taken from the architectural structure in two important V traffic space, and covers the concept of the “micro”. It implies that the small spatial intervention in the space can provide more behavioral possibilities.

This headquarters building is designed to be a gateway to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park in Zhuhai, China, with leasable offices, an exhibition centre, a service centre, meeting venues and commercial amenities.

The design for the Phase I of Qinhuangdao Golden Dream Bay, a high-density beachfront residential community, utilizes a series of stacked vertical modules, creating a porous massing punctuated with terraces and gardens. Arranged in stepped patterns along the shore, the composition creates large urban windows, framing views and fostering a sense of openness.
