Situated in a crowded and cluttered neighborhood in the Eastern District of Taipei City, The Dry Salon is designed to offer an inviting experience that detaches customer from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s a getaway place to take time off and enjoy an afternoon tea.

Entrusted by Xie Archi-Structure Design, NARMAL designed the exhibition hall of the Department of architecture and civil engineering of Suzhou Institute of Construction & Communications. As the exhi-bition hall and teaching classroom of “prefabricated assembly building”, we use the concept of “full assembly library” to convey our interpretation of this exhibition space and the return of teaching space.

The interaction of ancient and modern, the mutual penetration of art and life, the compatibility of local and world, all of these has created the rich texture and unique impression of Chengdu. It is not a surprise that Chengdu has always been ranked at the top for the charming cities in the world for many years. The first Canopy hotel in Asia Pacific – Hotel Canopy by Hilton Chengdu City Centre is located in the city that is customer-focused that emphasized on the experience of ‘body’, ‘heart’, ‘senses’ and ‘enlightenment’. The design of the hotel blends Chinese and Western charms, intertwined with old-fashioned feelings and vitality, elegant and unconventional style, bringing guests a lively Chengdu style and the comfort and warmth of home.

As a high-end chain store brand for precision personal skincare in Beijing, Ecnesse is positioned to provide customized beauty and body care solutions for high-end guests. In 2018 when Ecnesse planned to upgrade and renovate its 5 stores in Beijing, it commissioned Penda China to undertake the spatial design of the project.

“Pan” Commercial Area
Along with the pace of urban renewal in Chengdu, the emergence of more and more commercial space spontaneously formed Pan-TaikooLi or Pan-Chunxi Road commercial Area, radiate towards to Chengdu city center freely. Either are they interesting or fashionable, or boldly designed, or full of feelings. But they are constantly supplied with fresh blood for the new Chengdu.

Introduction
Located at No.A34 Yard, South Sanlitun, Beijing, the Project was originally built in the 1960s at a small yard of a state-owned enterprise canteen. In order to maintain contacts with its past, we reserve the appearance of the old building spatially while adding new materials and design slogans to make the building fashionable in whatever styles.

The project is situated on a flat site in the suburbs, which is surrounded by orchards, farmland and rivers, boasting beautiful landscape. On the west side is a grain processing factory, which is an enclosed architecture with pitched roofs designed by ARCHSTUDIO in previous years. There was originally a wooden house on the site, with a typical structure commonly seen a decade ago. To improve the quality of space, the house owner decided to demolish it and build a new architecture on the site. The newly built house mainly functions as a leisure and vacation space, serving for not only living but also receiving guests.
