Malling Dampmølle Housing Complex / CEBRA
In Malling, a stone’s throw from Aarhus, CEBRA melds historical reverence with contemporary living in the newly built housing complex of Malling Dampmølle. The new community reimagines the site of a historical steam mill, integrating 52 modern dwellings into the fabric of the existing suburban tapestry. The project offers a distinct approach to residential design that honors the area’s heritage while embracing modern lifestyles.

Working with the steep, narrow, densely wooded site, the aim was for minimal site disturbance and as little deforestation as possible. To achieve this, the house was positioned parallel to the site contours atop a particularly steep section of exposed granite ledge.
NICE Headquarters Brazil / Mario Cucinella Architects
Nice, an Italian multinational leader in the Smart Home sector automation, has opened its new Brazilian 20,000 square meter manufacturing base in the industrial district of Campinas, Limeira, a city located northwest of São Paulo. The building designed by Mario Cucinella Architects also houses the company’s International Research & Development Centre and serves as its Brazilian headquarters.
Chernyi Cooperative Coffee Roasters / FREYA Architects
When we rented the premises the builders were already knocking out old historical bricks. We have asked to keep them to use at the cash register allowing each cafe guest to touch the hundred-year`s history. This is the memory of the place that along with its history was crucial. The basic purpose of a coffee shop is to be a place where you can grab your morning coffee to-go, have a meeting, or stop for breakfast.
Pierre-Paul Bernard Stadium / K-architectures
Context. Inaugurated in 1976, Talence’s Pierre-Paul Bernard stadium was built in the heart of the Thouars woods. This location offers an exceptionally wild environment. The site is mainly dedicated to athletics and hosts national and international events, notably the Décastar, which has been part of the IAAF (World Athletics) world challenge in combined events since 1998. Kevin Mayer set the decathlon world record here in 2018. Since then, the site has become an essential step for world-class athletes, as well as Bordeaux’s biggest annual sporting event, attracting over 15,000 spectators.
House in Kutná Hora / BYRÓ architekti
The old house in the old town of Kutná Hora has undergone numerous changes throughout its history. The original medieval house burnt down completely and was replaced by a late 19th-century building that underwent extensive and not very sensitive reconstruction in the 1970s, further altering its character. When we were approached by clients for the complete renovation project, the house had essentially lost any authenticity and character, so our task was to restore it.
Çatalhöyük Visitor Center / TEGET
The Çatalhöyük Visitor Center project is nestled between the eastern and western mounds of Çatalhöyük, an ancient city with traces dating back to the 8th millennium BCE and renowned as one of the oldest settlements. Located 10 km east of Çumra district in Konya today, the area finds itself amidst vast fields stretching out like a grand carpet, interrupted unevenly by small villages. Archaeological excavations, which began in the 1960s with full vigor on the eastern mound, have been supported by excavation houses composed of a group of buildings since the 1980s, situated where the eastern mound flattens out, spanning a broad area.

A small goat house once stood in the meadow, which lies on the edge of a protected nature reserve, marking the maximum contours for building a new dwelling. How can you create a home that, instead of disrupting the natural landscape, would enhance its beauty? Furthermore, how can it stay within the strict requirements of the zoning plan?
