Vienna’s boutique design hotel DAS TRIEST, a popular accommodation choice among international artists and celebrities, has expended its offerings with the acquisition of the neighbouring property on the Margaretenstrasse which has now been renovated. BEHF Architects has been commissioned for the interior design of the bar and restaurant area.

PNC Legacy Pavilion / GBBN

Envisioned as a meeting space and gallery for exhibits featuring Pittsburgh stories throughout history, the PNC Legacy Pavilion is a landmark in Pittsburgh’s downtown Cultural District. Using just a few materials, including zinc panel, channel glass, and LED lighting, a tiny building (just 1,300 sf) transitions to a big role as a highly detailed, glowing beacon seen throughout the city.

Rietwierde Community School / Moke Architecten

On the periphery of a nondescript residential area in Groningen, Gianni Cito designed a large building for two schools, two childcare centres and a playground. From the outset, the end users played an important role in this project, engaging in regular dialogue with the architect during workshops. One of the significant outcomes was the proposal to share out-of-school care facilities, play rooms, gym, kitchen, staff room, science classroom and the playground.

The terrain is characterized by being a kind of plateau between two slopes that fall towards the Ranco Lake in southeastern orientation, having there its main view towards the landscape. The site is dominated by a large Laurel and a coihue, in addition to preexisting rocks. The north orientation is located towards the upper level of this plateau, from where the winds and rain come in winter, while the south is towards the access and the neighboring site, from where the prevailing winds come in summer.

Hotel Adriatic / 3LHD

The existing building was constructed in 1913 as one of the first hotels in the region and is nowadays the only one situated in the urban structure of Rovinj.
