AIRICE Future Agriculture Cultural Tourism Town is a vision of future agriculture, based on 5G technology, big data, artificial intelligence, UAVs, and other front-end technical support. It is also an agriculture cultural tourism demonstration pilot that combines eco-tourism, industrial demonstrations, and technology model promotion. Therefore, at the beginning of accepting the commission to design the project, the concept of a “Future ALL” was proposed, that is, to reflect the futuristic in all links, which includes: Future Agriculture, Future Landscape & Future Life.  It strives to show the impact of cutting-edge technologies on the world of material production.

A Small Artist Community. The tiny tower is located at the corner of a small artist community hidden in groves of bamboos in a large paddy field. The community consists of four commonly seen one-floor houses, each with a dual-pitched roof and renovated. Apart from these dwellings, there is a small pond and a paved yard. The community provides various spaces for artists’ living, working, exhibiting and get-togethers; whereas the tiny tower is where the artists would head for when their work requires a more spiritual space. Other times it could serve as a unique guest room.

The Loop Village Resort Hotel project is located in the bamboo forest valley of Miaoshan Village, Miaoxi Town, Wuxing District. The construction area is about 2,000 square meters, mainly composed of earth-covered buildings, combined with the slope valley landscape to form a small resort with an area of 35 acres and 13 super large suites. The outdoor lifestyle embraced by the loop village project is not the outdoor extreme sport of survival in the wilderness. It is more inclined to be a relaxed weekend outdoor life, the starting point of the novice’s yearning for nature, or a kind of scene conversion needed by urban youth.

Pushe Tea Room is a tea room project located in an office building beside the third ring road in Beijing. It is surrounded by high-rise buildings and is located in a typical modern block of a big city. “Mental State Dislocation, between Indoor and Outdoor” is the design concept that I want to convey in this project. Through repeated abstraction, switching, and the design techniques of mountain and forest scenes, the dislocation experience of repeatedly switching between the indoor and outdoor of the space could be felt, trying to evoke the perception of being separated from the world by tea drinkers, and then to enrich the spatial experience of the tea room.
