Lianhuadang Tourist Center / SEU-ARC + Nanjing Concord Design & Engineerings
The tourist center is located in the Lianhuadang waterfront area of Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. It serves tourists for rest, viewing, retail, toilets, etc. And it is also used as a tourist boat terminal.
“Practice in City” KnowYourself Store / Mur Mur Lab
“The sky is blue, the clouds are white, and the city is so ordinary.” A “cave” appeared in this familiar street. Practice in City is the first “future store” of the psychological consultation public account KnowYourself located on Julu Road, Shanghai.
The Renovation of Cook County Hospital / SOM
Completed in 1914, the Cook County Hospital building is a designated Chicago Landmark and once stood as the symbolic heart of the Illinois Medical District healthcare community. Vacant since 2002, the building had fallen into a severe state of disrepair and was threatened with demolition. Instead, SOM led a design-build collaboration for general contractor Walsh Construction, with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates and interior designers KOO, to carefully preserve, restore, and adapt the former hospital building to meet the changing needs of the neighborhood.

In the past Hangzhou, there were lots of entertainment spaces and private clubs around West Lake, today, with the development of counter-urbanization, some of them have been renovated and opened again. It became the biggest challenge in this project that how to balance commerce and the excellent natural location.
The Florescence Showroom / Karvone Design
Together with Guangzhou Vanke Real Estate Co. Ltd., Karv One Design created a super city showroom for the future new city of Huadiwan. The design started with studying the unique regional cultural memory of Huadiwan followed by extracting and deriving the flower-themed IP for the project.

Renew – The Soul. This time Roarc Renew received a task themed at countryside renewing. We do believe with great certainty that the essential feature of a renewing project compared to a newly-built project is “conforming to the original energy field of the construction”. The soul of every renewing project is to find out the hidden flow and go with it. It is as if the bright moon cannot be seen before clouds move away. Certainly, the first thing is to identify which cloud should move away and how to move it away. This is the methodology Roarc Renew used in building renewing for the past years.
MOMIC Watch Assembly Store / Atelier TAO+C
Dark green, honeydew, and white marble blocks, interspersed with accents of orange acrylic and blue metal, the first concept store designed by atelier tao+c for an emerging watch assembly brand MOMIC (Moments of Magic), featured simple and unique geometric volumes, superimposed on the precise combination of colors, enduing the space with a radical and straightforward and expressive force, capturing customers’ attention from the beginning of their journeys into the store.

Climax Music Studio is a film music studio project designed by Endless Space Architects. The biggest feature of this project is to design a dynamic space in a regular pattern. The design focused on how to make space feels bigger in a narrow and long site.

A first milestone in a multifaceted mixed-use project, Baoshan Exhibition Center preserves the industrial legacy of Baosteel’s Shanghai site, while setting the stage for its future functions. Through imbedding new architecture volume, as well as in-built flexibility, Kokaistudios’ structure sets a precedent for this landmark project.
