Behind every beautiful product, there is always an aesthetically pleasing production process. The aesthetic trend in production extends not only to the beauty of products but also to the beauty of the production environment and the products themself. Bacchus has always adhered to the green production concept of “born from nature, walking with nature” based on having one of the few global whiskey distilleries with both pot and continuous column stills. At present, as China’s most extensive whiskey distillery, it has become the first group company in China to practice the green concept of net zero emissions and take carbon neutrality as its long-term goal. Therefore, the beauty of production naturally became the design inspiration for their first flagship whiskey bar in Shanghai.

The Jiaogong Kindergarten（Qiangjiashan）, which features integrated architecture and interior design by LYCS Architecture, has officially opened and is put into use. The project is located in the Smart New Town of Quzhou and has a total construction area of 11,568 square meters. Designed according to the first-class standard of Zhejiang Province, it can accommodate 15 classes simultaneously. The project site is located in a high-density residential area surrounded by residential buildings on all sides except the west. As the demand for activity space increases for children’s growth, the land for campus construction is extremely limited. Therefore, how to achieve maximum freedom within the limited space and use play and joy to stimulate children’s motivation for autonomous exploration and learning has become the main topic of discussion in this case.

Atelier tao+c has transformed an old textile warehouse into a showroom for ZIIN, an emerging furniture brand. The project site is part of Langyuan Station, which features warehouse with pitched roof and brick walls built in the 60s from last century. Two intersected square frameworks were erected, meticulously rotated at 45 degree, staying sole as an individual structure while also connected to the original brick wall, which forms a separate “house within a house” journey. Atelier tao+c sought to balance the relation between the existing site with new functions, exhibition and sale, background and objects in the aged industrial space.

Located at the Lumina Center on the West Bund of Shanghai, Tezign is a well-known Internet and AI technology company featuring diverse working models and relatively flat management methods. Employees have the freedom to define their roles and ways of working. At the beginning of the project, the client described the entire office environment and atmosphere as a school campus, hoping that employees could freely choose to adapt their corner or switch between multi scenarios.

Echoing – “Set your body to be free.” Sò Studio aspires to create a simple and cozy interior that visitors would feel enshrouded by Ubras Concept Store Shanghai, responding to the brand value of “loyal to self, free at heart” through the celebration of girl power.
