Habitable Module IWI / Juan Ruiz + Amelia Tapia

IWI is an architectural project that offers the user a living space that adapts to their lifestyle. It is a product developed and patented in Ecuador by the architects Juan Ruiz and Amelia Tapia. The living space is built in wood by means of digital production cut by numerical control (CNC milling), creating an industrialized product that allows its universality, mass production, and easy assembly and disassembly.

Casa Mate is located on a lot to the south of the city of Guadalajara. It is conceived as a country house in which geometry plays a fundamental role, articulating the project through a corridor with a walled central garden that seeks to be a solid generator of privacy in each one of the interior spaces.

Tiny House / Cazú Zegers Arquitectura

The Tiny House project arises from the commission to propose a small neighborhood in the commune of Lo Barnechea (Santiago), which would be named after Pueblo La Dehesa. Under contemporary and sustainable eaves, it was asked to design a small town composed of three typologies of prefabricated and small housing. Type A house, 24.5 m2, considers a bedroom and a bathroom, the second B -type B, 49 m2, includes two bedrooms and a single bath. Finally, type C, 63 m2 housing, consisted of two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Casa Segura 1124 / Primer Piso Arquitectos

The Segura 1124 building is located on a 165m2 lot, on a narrow and busy street in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, in a low-rise residential area undergoing transformation and densification. A municipal particularity of the lot acts as a conditioner of the project, aiming to avoid affecting the block’s core in the last two meters towards the rear of the lot.

Bai-Ha Residential Complex / PPAA Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados

The project involves designing a block of 18 apartments for vacation purposes for a development agency located in Aldea Zamá, south of Tulum, Mexico. The site is characterized by tropical vegetation and soft soil, it is located about a hundred meters from the main beach. The vegetation includes native shrubs and tall palm trees, most of which need to be preserved. A panoramic view of wild garden-like vegetation can be seen from the main floor, and from the upper levels one can see treetops and views of the ocean.

Ocampo Building / Estudio Morton 51st

In a corner of Ituzaingó, in the west zone of the Buenos Aires suburbs, is the residential building of Ocampo. Its environment currently displays various multi-family housing projects under construction, responding to the new urban planning code that contemplates greater densification for the area. However, one premise was to generate a project that is respectful of its environment, understanding that its modification will take time and, meanwhile, the building will have to coexist with low-rise neighbors and houses with gardens.
