M1 House is the first project of a series carried out for Malaspina Design, a leading company in the design of sustainable housing in the State of Oregon, on the West Coast of the USA, that contacted us to explore the limits between Pacific Northwest dream home and contemporary architecture.
Pilares Valentín Gómez Farías is a building located in the Benito Juárez neighborhood in Mexico City, part of an initiative and public policy with the aim of rebuilding the district through committed architecture, a community center that benefits the citizenship.
The destruction of l’Horta de València, one of the main cultural and environmental values of the metropolitan area of the city, has been a constant in our territory. Within the framework of recent urbanization that is destroying a part of this heritage, Casa de les Porxades was created to recover and give meaning to the architecture of the past in the territory on which it is built and, at the same time, take advantage of the lessons of sustainability and landscape integration of vernacular architecture from a contemporary vision and language.
This university campus is located in the northern cone of the megalopolis that Lima has become. Around it, there are populous neighborhoods as well as more humble areas, including hills that are the result of recent invasions and abundant precarious housing.
The original approach is based on taking advantage of the qualities offered by the site, since it has a natural spring in the center of the property, with tropical trees with large foliage that benefit from it, and with a very peculiar topography for a region that is usually flat.
The project is a summer house designed for social activity, aimed at creating two distinct formal conditions that engage with the surrounding landscape.
It is a single-family house situated between party walls in the dense urban context of the Sant Gervasi neighborhood in Barcelona.
The client’s request consisted of a holiday home. Based on this, we created two volumes at the ends of the property, which are articulated, through a body of water, with a series of patios and green areas; At the same time, perimeter circulations were established to demarcate the volumes of the adjoining buildings.
The G+D house is located in the Huentelauquen area in Canela, Chile. A coastal desert area that stands out for its arid geography, powerful solar radiation, and prevailing winds.
