The house is located in the Tebet area and appears towering with a black checkered facade pattern that seems unique compared to the surrounding houses. Starting from an existing house inhabited by a main family, the client wanted a house with a concept that emphasizes space compactivity, ventilation, and maximum natural lighting. To answer these problems and needs, the architect tried to reuse the demolition of the existing house by applying the split-level concept. The site is characterized by tropical vegetation and soft soil, it is located about a hundred meters from the main beach. The vegetation includes native shrubs and tall palm trees, most of which need to be preserved. A panoramic view of wild garden-like vegetation can be seen from the main floor, and from the upper levels one can see treetops and views of the ocean.
