Site overview. The Chinese Culture (Publishing and Broadcasting) Data Industry (CCDI) project is the first national-level data center in China’s news, publishing, and broadcasting industry. It is located in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang City. Upon completion, it will become the country’s largest platform for copyright trading, as well as the largest hub for innovative broadcasting and television networks clusters. Reaping the benefits of Guizhou Province’s geography, climate, and natural resources, the park is driven by industrial policies, oriented towards big data and cloud computing industries, and strategized to drive the development of the national economy. Its goal is to create a dynamic, complex, open, and ecological big data platform.

The house is spread out through the ground floor, 2 floors and 1 garret. It had been renovated into a rental apartment. The economic problem was to create maximum space and usable area. It also had to be easy to construct, blocky, solid but unique, attractive to young people. It also had to make the most of the green space.

Nantou Ancient Town— witness of the city’s history for millennia
Nantou Ancient Town Renovation and Upgrade is a project launched to inherit the historical context for more than a thousand years and recapture the memory of Shenzhen city. As a local emerging design studio, Various Associates was entrusted to participate in the cluster renovation of the Project led by Vanke. The studio has completed an “urban memory exhibition hall” in the core area at Nanbei Street — the demonstration section of the Project.

VILLA JACARANDA_04 is located on a 470 m² lot in the heart of a residential neighborhood in Casablanca. The scope of this project was to bring openness to the garden by letting the exterior communicate with the interior and vice versa. This geared the architecture DNA towards the use of a specific material palette: white exterior walls, exposed concrete ceilings, oak wood, white perforated façade panel, black perforated metal interior staircase, zellige tiles and also plants.
