Since the late 1960s, Yeonhui-dong has been one of the representative residential areas in Seoul for the middle-income class. Looking into the townscape around the site reveals several common characteristics, one of which is the location of the parking lot below the slope on which the house is perched so that a beholder standing at the front road comes to see the high wall taller than one story.

Architects favour Labour Party in UK general election

The majority of UK architects plan to vote for the Labour Party in tomorrow’s general election, according to research from industry magazine The Architects’ Journal. A report published today on the magazine’s website suggests that the political party led by Jeremy Corbyn is significantly more popular with architects than Theresa May’s Conservative Party, which is currently in power.
