Unesco Biosphere Shelter Conrhenny celebrates the nature, culture and people in the Isle of Man. It is designed by Slovak architects Betty Laurincova and Michal Kotvan and made from locally sourced timber with beautiful views over Douglas Bay. The dome of the roof is created by subtracting an ellipsoid from the basic geometry, breaking its original symmetry.
