Huangpu River Yangpu Bridge Water Quality Automatic Monitoring Station is located in Yangpu Riverside of Huangpu River. The base is surrounded by several historical buildings, including the historical protection building Sanxin Cotton Mill on the north side, the historical protection building Shanghai Power Station Auxiliary Equipment Factory on the east side, and the newly renovated Party and Mass Service Station on the west side. The project is a small building in the rich industrial heritage complex.

Breathing Beach House / Karm Architecture Lab (KAL)

The single-story 3-bedroom family vacation home was envisioned as a truly vernacular structure, one that celebrates both the desert and the Red Sea, within its idyllic sea-front location in Egypt’s Eastern desert. Due to the site’s climatic conditions and the structure’s exposed location, with temperatures reaching 50 Celsius in summer, the home’s design was heavily influenced by the environmental strategies that would protect it. Inspired by the philosophies of biomimicry and biophilia, the Breathing Beach House was designed to act as a living thing, reacting to climatic conditions to create comfortable indoor environments for its inhabitants.

Mühle GmbH & Co.KG produces the finest shaving products as a third-generation family business at the site in Stützengrün since 1945. With the replacement of Hall 4, the traditional location in the Erzgebirge is expanded and completed. The design objective was to integrate the new building unobtrusively into the heterogeneous factory structure and at the same time to generate an object with a strong and independent identity.
