The first concept store of PILOT in Korea, which made a technical partnership with PILOT in Japan in 1962 and introduced delicate and diverse writing instruments, focused on emotionally experiencing the superior technicality of the pen.

Juanzong Bookstore and Yi Shan Children’s Books / genarchitects

Located in a dense forest by a lake in Shunyi, Beijing, this project is renovated from a Prairie style villa, with an inner corridor linking several rooms. There are two kinds of interior heights: 4.8 meters and 3.5 meters. This building needed to be transformed into a space that could accommodate an architecture bookstore(Juanzong Bookstore), children’s bookstore (Yishan Books), restaurant, gallery, and office.

RtA Soho Store / Dan Brunn Architecture

Third in the series for the brand’s location, the design set out to evolve the language established at the Los Angeles and Las Vegas shops, while also contextualizing the grittier and more historic Soho district. Within the 14-foot-tall space, there is a mixture of varying materials, seamlessly put together through careful detailing. Anything from wood plank floors, rubberized red fitting rooms, Corian surfaces, blackened steel beams, and Baccarat crystal create a minimalist backdrop to the edgy fashion design house.

ARC’TERYX opened a new store in Beidahu Ski Resort, on a day that the resort embraced its first snowfall of the season. Born in Canada’s coastal mountains with a harsh environment, ARC’TERYX is an industry leader in high-performance outdoor apparel and gear. With a restless commitment to precise design and production, the brand has been dedicated to improving outdoor adaptability and encouraging the evolution of exploration for decades. The new store’s design is based on the brand’s DNA. Breaking away from conventional commercial designs, the design team adopted warm-toned lighting, textures, and diverse spatial languages, focused on users’ natural experiences in indoor and outdoor spaces, and meanwhile emphasized functionality and a vibe that fits in with the user community, with a goal to create a “spiritual” destination for snow enthusiasts.

The seemingly simple design, highlighted by red elements, mirrors the pragmatism and aesthetics of the Dutch, with some surprising twists hidden inside. Ochama is the first omnichannel store in the country to provide a full range of products, including fresh groceries. The leading retail technologies and logistics from JD.com will guarantee 100% automatic preparation, delivery, and customer services and help improve the interaction and lower the costs. This will offer the customers an extra 10% discount. The brain behind the Ochama is Storeage-Group, a Dutch design agency working in retail design for over 22 years. Ochama is an opportunity for Storeage to return to the basics of design thinking.
