We started this project two and a half years ago, in 2016. Initially, the concept of the bakery was the opposite – it was a black brutal loft. In fact, at the moment such brutalism would not surprise anyone. Everyone is accustomed to such interiors.
Melilla Central Market Refurbishment / Ángel Verdasco Arquitectos
This work presents architecture as a tool and as a strategy that mediates in social conflicts, rebuilding both the area and the relationships between its users. A multicultural architecture. Melilla is a small Spanish city bordering Morocco located in North Africa. The closing of the Central Market in 2003, after 90 years of operation, left a completely abandoned area in the city.
Alexandra Palace / Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios
Largely hidden for over 80 years, Alexandra Palace’s East Court and Theatre has reopened following the completion of a hugely ambitious, three-year East Wing Restoration Project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Haringey Council.
The regeneration of the Victorian Theatre and East Court of the People’s Palace reinvigorates this spectacular building and, through the discreet integration of technical infrastructure, enables it to become a significant theatrical and cultural venue for London once more.

The office complex is located in a area once home to a farm, active since the 70s and ceased in the early 2000s, which insisted on a property of about 50.000 m2, divided into 10 artifacts for a total volume of about 15.000 m3.
Vale do Tua Interpretive Center / Rosmaninho+Azevedo Arquitectos
The Vale do Tua Interpretive Center of (CIVT) is placed in two unoccupied old railway warehouses. Situated in opposite sides of the Douro line, the proposed program was for each of them explored the complementarity and the character of each building.
Refurbishment of the old Headquarters of the Granada Monte de Piedad / DTR_studio architects
This is a XVIII century building. The old headquarters of the “Monte de Piedad” de Granada. It was like a Public Pawn shop. The amazing situation (just in front of the Alhambra), the public scale of the spaces and its configuration made this project a special one. We have tried to keep its atmosphere and propose a new language that improve to the existing building.

About the place and the intervention
Álora is placed as a bow of the mountainous landscape of Sierra del Hacho facing to the coast of Málaga and the Valley of Guadalhorce. One of its Its main highlights is its Castle surrounded by an ancient Arrabal (arab quarter). The village has a rich and interesting history related to the Moorish defence against the Catholics and about the beginings of the malagueña, a kind of flamenco song.
Le Splendid / BAL
Closed since 2012, this four-star hotel, an emblematic monument of Dax (Landes, France), embarks on a new life, more open towards the city and its population. The landscaping was created in association with EXIT and makes a tremendous contribution, orienting the building towards Dax, fluidifying its approaches and capitalising on L’Adour and Thiers Square. The entranceways of the various entities of the project were simplified in order to accentuate this new programmatic view.
