The project is located in the Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain region in southeast China and consists of a tourist information space, local craft display and storage area, staff rooms, restrooms and an observation deck. The main design objective has been to eschew an object-in-the-landscape approach, and instead integrate the building in the surrounding landscape both formally, as well as materially.
Usage
Until it was decommissioned, the building was used as a railway signal box for the former Wiesbaden West freight depot.
The control room was on the 1st floor. Lounge, toilet and boiler room on the ground floor.
The old presbytery In Riec-sur-Belon is intended to accommodate the cultural and associative pole. The plot dedicated to the operation presents a unique situation: an existing heritage building (a former presbytery) surrounded by a stone wall and an old orchard. The cultural hall and the associative premises are part of a comprehensive approach aimed at strengthening links between the village, around the market, the church, and the town hall.
The main idea is to design an open and transparent space within a basic form where people can find peace and relate themselves to their surroundings. As we believe “Honesty, Transparency, and Openness bring Peace of Mind.”- Dalai Lama
The project “Ismaili Jamatkhana & Community Centre” is situated in the northern suburbs of Mumbai, India. In Islamic architecture, light plays an essential role in designing the interiors of religious structures and other buildings. The Jamatkhana & Community Centre design explores the relationship between Light, Islamic geometrical patterns, and Built form to create an experiential space.
The ‘De Rinck’ community center in Anderlecht illustrates the social and institutional complexity that Brussels projects can entail. The corner buildings are heritage sites in the historical heart of Anderlecht. Het Dapperheidsplein is alive and kicking: many cultures meet each other here, but you can also bump into enthusiastic RSCA football fans. The community center is home to various local and supra-local organizations. Thanks to the varied program, every culture lover can treat himself there. Both residents and newcomers to the city can take part in a wide range of language, dance, culture, wellbeing, or music courses.
Moxon Architects has completed Brent Cross Town’s Visitor Pavilion. Open to the public, the Visitor Pavilion will be the bedrock of public engagement for the delivery of the £7bn regeneration project by Argent Related and Brent Council, providing welcoming spaces for visitors, project teams, residents, and the wider community, while promoting the positive placemaking principles that will be embedded in the new North London neighborhood.

Laixi is located in the middle of the Jiaodong peninsula, rich in hydrological resources. The only river which runs through the city from the east to south is the focus of riverside wetland landscape shaping. With the development of the city and surrounding community, the riverside park has become an important carrier of wetland landscape, the demand for community function is more and more strong. The design task is to renovate the auxiliary buildings in the riverside park, fill in the community functions, and stimulate the vitality of the waterfront area and improve the spatial quality of the riverside as a whole.
About the context. The multipurpose room is located in the back of a company that provides integrated services. This company plays an important role in the recycling of waste and remnants of the main automotive companies in the country and has a strong relationship with sustainability and environmental care. Faced with the opportunity to recover an abandoned space, the project arose from the need for a place where the work team can eat, rest and carry out activities like training or business talks. Under this premise, space was designed to be physically, visually and sensitive abstracted from their daily work environment.
