There are 2 main aspects of this project. The first one is reshaping the typically structured space arrangement of the apartment, originally from the 1950s, with the intention of creating a multipurpose living space for a young family, that would put an emphasis on the importance of social interactions.
On a site located within a condominium on the central coast, with a steep slope and a configured existing central plateau, a single-family house was designed defining the option of laminated pine as a structural skeleton, according to its correct behavior in the face of demands and efforts and its adequate properties in humid saline climates.
Located in one of the most typical and established neighbourhoods of Aveiro (Beira Mar), this residence is the result of a passionate and challenging reform, a reform which intends to return to the city and to its users a lifestyle which is free and in contact with outdoor spaces, with the sound of seagulls and the smell of the sea breeze, the colour of the sky and the green of the vegetation.
Spatial units and the open space. The plot features the extraordinary garden of an old house, the project explores a defragmentation of the programme by placing it along the strength of the immediate natural environment.
The site is in the Royan city in north of Iran, located in a quiet residential area, where there was a beautiful forest in the past. the design started with a conversation with the client who was a religious man and privacy was very important to him also he had a limited budget and wanted to build a very simple building. Carry out a modern, practical and timeless design, sophisticated and cozy, representing the natural light and ventilation that also saves the client tight budget were our main challenges of the project.

In a city famous for demolishing suburban character to make way for ubiquitous ‘Mcmansions’ House B is an important project because it exemplifies the value a mindful architect can place on existing built and landscape character as leaders of development.
When our clients purchased a stunning lot nestled among the hills above San Jose, they dreamed of an equally stunning structure that sat lightly on the dramatic hill slope. The original building had burned down some years before, leaving behind its foundation and an unnaturally flat plot cut into the hillside
The existing house in the middle of the fields is very charming. It’s architecture does not interact with it’s context so it seems as if the house accidentally ended up there.
Urban transition and new orientations. The project adds two floors on an existing volume and reorganize entirely the plan with a creation of a patio, transforming an urban house into a two apartment construction, a duplex on the two first floors and a triplex above it.
This house is located in a quiet residential area, which is to Northside of Kurazukuri Zone (Old storehouse zone) in Kawagoe City. In the summer Koedo Kawagoe Fireworks Display is exciting in the whole city, in the autumn Kawagoe Festival, a lot of lantern lights in front of the house are fantastic and traditional.What is the best harmony of their family’s lifestyle and the traditional Kawagoe City?
