The program addresses the use of a family that lived in an apartment in Buenos Aires and decided to move to Córdoba during the pandemic. The land is located on the outskirts, in a gated community, in the southwest of the city, covering an area of 1500 m2, with a slight negative slope and a north-facing front. The house is designed with a clear functional distribution that manifests in the volumetric composition. One block for services, another for social areas, and another for private spaces, which are arranged in a “U” shape that surrounds a courtyard through which one enters.

Green terraces and an overhanging pool integrate indoor and outdoor spaces in a villa with ocean views.

This plaza stands as a 21st-century climate refuge for the city: a living, adaptable space, capable of responding to both people’s needs and the surrounding climatic conditions.

Traces is a new collective space in Jackson Park, constructed from 10,000 dry-stacked bricks.  

The commission consisted of a house that would function as a second home in a secluded area in the hills of Papudo, municipality of La Ligua. The landscape of gentle hills and shrub vegetation with views towards the northern mountains was to be a key element in the conception of the project.

As the nearby trees age, in no hurry, this scaleless piece will become even smaller. Cornered against a dark forest of Coihues (Nothofagus dombeyi), the concentrated and directionless footprint acquires an axial sense, explicitly asymmetrical, with one high side, perhaps completing an imaginary cube, and with its opposite side with no elevation at all.
