Facing endless Daye Lake and backed by the emerging ecological new city, Huangshi Urban Complex is supposed to be a link between Daye Lake ecological circle and modern city as well as a gateway for opening up. It is an urban space for exhibition, entertainment and ecological leisure.

Y20 SPACE is located in the Hongyuan Park inside of the famous Hangzhou XiXi Wetland and surrounded by charming natural scenery and profound historical culture. This area is attracting a large number of small and medium enterprises, such as investment companies, Internet Co, and many start-up companies. When the owner AIcai Technology found us, they did not just want a work place, but more to create a space for office work, business conference, activities, presentations and exhibitions.

The Ancient Village of Persimmon Forest, has the features of eastern Zhejiang canyon landform. Meanwhile it has abundant sunshine and rainwater, diversified land vegetation and high coverage. Persimmon, sakura, bamboo shoots and tea are important economic crops in the ancient village. Surrounded by mountains, the unique geographical location makes this ancient village, which has eight hundred years of history, more mysterious. The village enjoys the profound cultural connotations and development paths and hopes to drive its development of tourist industry through the completion of boutique hotels.

Some people asked me why GOM would make out an elliptical building which seldom appeared in our designing history. It was because the landscape design company insisted to make the site into an oval as a way to intervene in existed architecture and landscape.

The migration of human beings that follows the operation of society has existed since ancient times. Under the rapid development of urbanization, the typical migration phenomenon must be the “Urban Tide”, which refers to the fact in urban area that every morning millions of people flood into working areas from living areas, while every evening those people back to living areas. “Urban Tide” is considered as an inevitable derivative during the process of urbanization.

Shenzhen Branch Office Building of China Merchants Bank is another important project to have the corporate image well shown in Shenzhen after its Head Office Building Completion. It was designed by China Architecture Design & Research Group who won the design competition in 2007 and was completed in 2017.

Living in an era of great changes today, people experienced life from poverty to affluence, but the subjective well-being has not been promoted correspondingly. On the contrary, modern people become more restless and uneasy, which is due to the lack of calmness in the heart; and this calmness can be gained only after hustle and bustle fades away. Only when the material is reduced to the essence can it lead to its spiritual level, which is the goal of this project.

Wutopia Lab was invited by Go High Fund to transform a 9-story office building into a new office community that blends life and sociality. Located in the northeast corner of Shanghai, the old building is a typical product during the transition from a typical industrial economy to service economy. In this project, Wutopia Lab rethought the way to transform old building, by simply draping it with a new overcoat. 

After Beijing won the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics, the National Sports Bureau gave great support to the folk promotion of the ice and snow sports, and the people also showed great enthusiasm. In this context, two new all-seasons dry snow ski resorts have been built in Beijing and Qingzhou, Shandong recently. In the snow-free season, they will provide training grounds for the national single-board Olympic team. At the same time, they will be open to the public and become a new sports entertainment attraction.

The design idea is based on the Sleeping Cloud Pavilion in the retreat garden of Tongli Town, Wu Jiang. With the double-layer structure, one layer of the pavilion is a summer pavilion. The steps of artificial mountain stone around the pavilion lead to the second layer of tea kiosk with twists and turns. The sight is bright once mounting the tea kiosk.
