This is the project of the working space of Edgelab. It was originally a store space with a story height of 6m and has been divided into two stories with a steel sandwich panel. The ground floor is the T.E.M.P art space, outfitted with a bar, meeting space, washrooms and exhibition installations, while the mezzanine floor is used as the daily working space of Edgelab.

The motives
Enjoy leisure, be peaceful so that the mind reaches out, be care-free and be far from the dust. The building is named as “ChengRanJu”, which comes from a famous paper by a Scholar Cui Xian in the Ming Dynasty and which literally means “worry-free happiness”. This state of mind is like those ancient hermits who live in bamboo forests with tranquilities. To sum up, the name of the building implies seeking peace of mind by getting rid of all things flashy.

Various Associates were approached by Wann to design their first gallery lounge of Shenzhen. Located in No.1 Shenzhen bay－the most potential area in China, the scheme comprises of the lounge area with meal, bar, and art gallery. Collaborating with local vendors and manufacturers, spatial-making was a central theme in ensuring that the final space was searching, the wonderland for the ‘alcohol lover’.

Jinghong is the capital city of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, where is at the southern part of Yunnan province; unlike other regions of China, this Dai Autonomous Prefecture region is with the classic tropical rainy climate, which the whole year is divided into the rainy season and dry season.

Vogue is an industry for all the gorgeous things. She is the beauty with elegant and compact. People working here are those keys on the piano, beat softly and merrily, carry out the graceful and melodious music, play the elegant rhythm.

Foreword
This is a reconstruction project in Xinchang, Shanghai. What is interesting to us is that this will be a very good opportunity to explore how to remould and upgrade the widely existing new rural villas in China to meet the needs of contemporary aesthetics and life under controllable conditions.

The project is located in Geographic Information Town, south of Deqing County, China. It is, specifically, between Tashan No.2 Street and Tashan No.3 Street,and across Quyuan Road. Built on an island on The Phoenix Lake, the grand architecture is a window for the world to see Deqing County. The building’s above-ground area is 42,556 square meters, with a main structure of three floors andaheight of 23.95 meters, and the underground construction area is 29,507 square meters.

Located in the new district of Tongzhou in Beijing, this project is the first step of a large industrial conversion into office and business park. The old factories, the property of the Beijing Printing Company in the past now empty, occupy an area of 40,000 sqm. The new master plan includes not only office spaces but also restaurants, cafes, auditorium, outdoor events space among other services.
