We use ambiguity and conflict to express the sweetness and non-sweetness of “NOT SWEET”. Community commerce is a part of our life, but the machine-made form is without any splendidness, we ignore such existence around us as always. The appearance of “NOT SWEET” is designated to break such status, hide around us with an ordinary and quiet pose, and integrate into our daily without mincement.
Liantang Port is located in Liantang Street, Luohu District, East Shenzhen. It is the seventh cross-border land comprehensive port planned and constructed by Shenzhen City. It is an important port in the east that constructs a major pattern of “east in and east out, west in and west out” for Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border transportation.
The project draws inspiration from the concept of “SAVHE”- meaning “the respiration” in the language of LISU minority group, which is traced back from the place where the hotel brand of “Atour” started. We reshape the originally wasted open space inside a service apartment and transform it into a spiritual space”SAVHE” for the hotel. It features a reading function andcreates a moment of reflection in the hustle-bustle of the city.

To the south of the base is the vast Bohai Sea and high-quality sandy beach, which is also the base of national Marine sailing sports. At the north of area are community parks and sports facilities, which is all about relaxing sports and life. This project is the supporting facilities of national Marine sailing sports, with a total construction area of about 998 square meters, consisting of two single buildings.

Jí Architect, entrusted by client, redeveloped an approx. 90-square meter atypical courtyard house in a Beijing hutong. Functions of the redeveloped courtyard house were yet to be decided. The outline and the shape of the new building shall remain consistent with the original.
Square, circle, and lines of light construct a geometric dining space, from which the axes of life originate. Iron display shelves exhibit greenery and memory of life, and lights of x, y, and z dimensions attract the lines of sight of the entire space.
Well in traditional villages is not only a carrier of daily life but also a medium of public communication. Rain-hearing pavilion followed the theme of “New Hui-style Art settlements” in campus planning and relied on the old retained well to express the vision of harmonious coexistence between modern and tradition, human and nature.

SWEET & TASTE is located in Aranya Gold Coast, a dessert shop with 46 square meters. The design is inspired by the unclosed fontanelle for babies -“Angel’s Box”.
