A city that defies expectations, this is what many visitors often express about the Senegalese capital, Dakar. As Africa’s most western port city, which gained independence from the French in 1960, Dakar is a regional hub for diversity and culture. While it’s often described as an unexpectedly sleek and “modern” city, with its characteristic and sometimes colorful monolithic buildings, Dakar is in fact in constant development and each of its districts tends to reflect a different style and focus, depending on its inhabitants and the dominating functions.

The project lies in the hot new urban area Euro Village 1, nestled between the Dragon Bridge and Tran Thi Ly Bridge of Danang City. The house represents the concept of the start of a new life, connecting and nourishing family love between the young couple and their two children.

DEMETER BEANS is a local coffee roasting brand known to many customers. After the success of Facility 1, it is a roasting workshop that combines a cafe experience space with a mobile iron structure that blends with the landscape.

The project is located on Green Cape, Batumi, Georgia, one of the most attractive seaside resorts on the Black Sea coast. The site sits within lush vegetation overlooking the sea and is easily accessible from the main road. The neighboring Batumi Botanical Garden, with its unique flora, adds to the charm. The surroundings are characterized by low-rise houses, with old, rundown yet beautiful Soviet-era vacation homes scattered throughout.

The site is located at the end of the Gyeongui Line Forest Park, featuring contrasting contexts with a 20-meter-wide road in the front and a park in the back. Accordingly, the design minimizes the number of openings toward the road, giving the building a solid and heavy mass. On the park side, the openings are maximized to create a dense visual interaction with the park’s forest.

House number 7, is the seventh house in the series of exercises aimed at creating a new spatial experience. It was built on a 155-square-meter plot in a new development area of Yazd. The house was designed for Mr. and Mrs. Hasani and their soon-to-be-born child, in a neighborhood where most plots were either undeveloped land or under construction.

A young businesswoman/ Energetic/ Of a working age/ Frequently traveling/ Strong but gentle/ Loving modernist architecture.  These phrases more or less reflect the identity of A Bit W Residence owner who shared with our design team her aspirations for her first home. The property she will call her own, A Bit W Residence is built on her family’s 30-year-old land located in the housing estate in a Bangkok suburb, surrounded by a rich party of neighbors.
