Building – Mission Rock Building B reimages the future of the workplace by fostering a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. Its eight stories feature cascading, carved-out gardens that serve as dynamic workspaces and outdoor meeting areas, encouraging occupants to work amidst lush greenery and stunning views of San Francisco. The building’s flexible design, featuring two offset cores and expansive floor plates bathed in natural light, is ideal for a variety of tenants, from traditional commercial spaces to life sciences companies. Carved-out sections of the facade incorporate fritted glass, adding a unique, textured element while providing additional natural light to lower-floor interior spaces. WORKac designed open-concept, all-gender restrooms on each floor, ensuring privacy and inclusivity.

The third floor of the hair salon “the hinc” features the interior design of their accommodation facility, “TOU”. The “Wa” (和-“harmony”) that TOU aims for is not the traditional Japanese style. We interpret the “Wa” they pursue as the balance created by uniquely individual and intrinsic elements.

Located in the touristy area of Braga Street, we recognize that customer behavior here tends to be fast-paced and easily distracted. This understanding guides us in designing an environment that captures attention

Dreaming of a family vacation home on land that had been left untouched for a long time. For the elderly couple, clients, Daegu was both their hometown and a place they had long called home. Although they now reside in a different region, they still travel to Daegu frequently and want to create a place to stay on the land they had left unused for many years. Their children’s families were in a similar situation, so they hoped that this house would become a family vacation home with a yard where any family member could come and stay comfortably when visiting Daegu.

Nestled at the base of a hill within the Quartier 8 development of Mont Tremblant, Quebec, the Q8 Residence derives its name from its unique location. Embraced by a wooded landscape, this home seamlessly integrates contemporary architectural design with the tranquility of its natural surroundings. Approaching the residence, you encounter a closed fa.ade with minimal openings, effectively turning its back to the road. The lack of windows on this side not only offers seclusion but also minimizes heat loss during the colder months, contributing to the home’s energy efficiency.

Mexico City is renowned for its abundant museums, heritage sites, and cultural richness. In fact, the capital has over 173 museums, big and small spread out through its 16 alcaldías or burroughs. The presence of these cultural spaces injects and intensifies the artistic appeal and aspect of the vibrant city. With many pioneering Mexican architects having intertwined modern art and architecture, this gave rise to iconic museums and classics of Mexican modernist architecture.
