Vejlskovgaard Stable / LUMO Architects
New stable for 600 milk-producing cows and in connection to a family-owned old farm. The crosslike ground shape of the stable connects to different and important surrounding spaces and qualities. The shape creates a new center and yard towards the old farm and housing. And it relates to exposure towards the close passing main road and the beautifully curvy and hilly green landscape behind the farm.

Groupe Scolaire Pasteur / R2K Architectes
The building is located in Limeil-Brevannes, near Paris. It consists of three preschools and of two elementary schools. As the method of commissioning was used so called “conception-construction” system, where the competition teams propose both all plans and the construction on fixed price. Beside schools, an apartment building of social housing of 46 flats was included to the competition program. Time for the competition was one month. The decision for the winner was made in April 2011 and the inauguration of the building was held 18 months later. The construction of the apartment building starts in next April.

Exhibited in Oslo Architecture Museum from 26th of October to 24th of November 2019 for the 2019 Oslo Architecture Triennale (ab)Normal will focus on the existing relationship with the city of Oslo and the automation processes that our rapidly intersecting our path. As part of an on-going research by (ab)Normal with Ludwig Engel, Oslo will be here depicted through a different lens, highlighting several aspects that are yet to come and raising awareness of others that are already within us.

DPS Kindergarten School / Khosla Associates
The brief called for us to design a franchise for a popular north Indian school chain called Delhi Public School. Since the model was to be potentially replicated across several schools in South India, we were asked to create a simple and cost-effective language that could be adapted easily to different site conditions and slightly varying programs.
