The Fairyland Premium Kids Café designed by Wutopia Lab is officially open to the public in Dalian on May 28th, 2019. The brand is mutually owned by PACEE Education and Fairyland so that there will be shared resources from PACEE that the client wishes kids can enjoy learning with entertainment. This cafe will be the first educational family restaurant in China.
Wujun District, Taihu New Town, Suzhou, is a newly developed residential area. It is adjacent to the water surface of East Taihu Lake in the Southeast direction, with comfortable environment and beautiful scenery. Wujun kindergarten is the first kindergarten in this area, covering 12,527 ㎡, 27 classes.
Sitting in the center of the Gujiaying horticulture village, the building features a piazza made of traditional tiles bending upwards, revealing the subterranean art space below.
The project is located in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Seven residential neighborhoods have been built in the periphery successively, which are divided into three blocks, i.e., community commercial center, commercial street and serviced apartment. Designed based on the concept of “Market”, a series of space close to human scale are created to attract and gather traffic to both banks of the river, providing a unique shopping experience that is close to nature.
With the advantage of geography, Shenzhen Shajing has largely developed the low-end manufacturing industry in the past two or three decades. The mass construction of factories not only destroyed the scenery wetland and farmland, but also brought chaos to the nearby suburb. Industrial parks and external urban spaces form negative places. In recent years, many residential buildings and schools were built around the industrial park.

Fengqiao, a thousand-year-old town in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province, has become a cultural center in the northeastern part of Zhuji in history due to the “Gu Yue Jian Du” and “Fengqiao Sanxian”. The “Fengqiao Experience” in 1962 is known throughout the country as a model for social grassroots governance.
Site Location
The renovation project locates along the riverside, the core of teaching buildings area and the centerline of the campus. The warehouse for building materials was in idle or abandoned. The structure of the Chong’er Pavilion nearby is well maintained, but the space is not opened and less active. Besides, landscape resources are barely utilized, thus the whole place is not functioning.
A building is not merely a place for fitting variable activities within, it also reveals the relationship between the neighborhood and the building itself. In the meantime, it shall be connected with urban development.

Inkstone House OCT Linpan Cultural Center in Anren, Sichuan is located in the middle of the Linpan area of Anren Town, Dayi County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is adjacent to the Qimu River in the west and surrounded by large fields and bamboo forests. The design tries to integrate into the original natural landscape, continue the material and spatial elements of the traditional buildings in Western Sichuan, explore the coexistence of architectural culture, construction, and the combination of locality and emerging techniques under the guidance of structural performance-based approaches of digital fabrication, integrating local concepts and new technologies.
