Sarah’s House is a four bedroom home set in an existing olive orchard 1000ft above the north coast of Corfu.

The kindergarten built in Kočevje on brownfield land regenerates part of town by condensing programme previously dispersed in unfit buildings. It provides a new learning environment that emphasizes the children’s freedom of choice by creating various nooks, the right to privacy with spaces of seclusion, the possibility of learning by observing, development of spatial sensitivity through diverse spatial experiences including sincere use of building materials with tactile surfaces for 350 children and their caretakers.

Before its transformation, Quinn Hill was originally a dilapidated small family farm. Acquired by a new family with the vision of creating a rural residence that harmonizes with nature and fosters human connection, the property underwent a thoughtful renovation.

The project seeks to provide a refuge for the family that inhabits it (1 couple and 2 children), who frequently camp in the pine forest where it is located; we chose 5 trees, which we connected with metal beams (painted pink – color theory), to generate the structure of the floor and the roof respectively, thus creating 2 habitable levels: the transverse slope of the terrain generated the Ground Floor-viewpoint, where it is also the BBQ area, with a clay kitchen “molded” into the natural slope of the land.
