The new “Stadtgärten am Henninger Turm” residential quarter is being rounded out with a new-build childcare center. This childcare center is located in the heart of the quarter, right on the East-West promenade that leads from the historical Henniger Villa to the new Henninger Turm residential high-rise. Complementing the neighborhood shopping center in the building at the high-rise’s base, the childcare center livens up the new shared heart of the Henninger district, which boasts almost 1000 apartments.

Located in the mountain resort of Haute-Nendaz, this small wooden house and its workshop are nestled in a wooden area, planted some 50 years ago by the neighboring chalet’s owner’s ancestors. The project is set on the site opposite the family building, therefore densifying the existing plot by dividing it in two. The shift in the plan of the house and workshop creates a central area: an intimate garden, cut off from the rest of the world despite close proximity to the parental chalet and the neighboring summer camp building.

The project involves the construction of a new single-family house developed on one level. The location of the building exploits the full potential of the plot: the house creates privacy and protection for the most intimate environments and opens up towards the large private garden.

This was a very special project from the Start…D*Haus was invited to tender for an ambitious ground floor rear extension, the Clients brief was clear – to maximise space and light, opening up the entire rear facade but at the same time keeping an outdoor courtyard space.

The company is located on the ground floor of a 90 years old building, currently called Radost, translated as “Joy“. It follows the functionalist roots of the building with its interior design, only adding so many new features to keep the feel of the original building

Danish architecture studio CEBRA has completed a seaside villa in Denmark wrapped in an undulating roof, offering expansive views over the Aarhus Bay while also sheltering itself from the weather. Responding to the specific site conditions and the client’s wish for an artistic expression, the residence is designed as an inhabitable sculpture that takes on a different shape depending on your point of view and the capricious coastal weather.

This organic, lodge-style home in the Five Trees neighborhood at the base of Aspen Highlands ski area is a multi-generational home that facilitates a contemporary lifestyle. The design of the tri-level, 10,750 square foot structure pushed the national park influenced neighborhood design guidelines while incorporating modern features.
