Meet the Architecture and Design Festival which will be hosting guided tours through the hidden gems of the underexposed architectural hub, Columbus, IN. From post offices to public libraries, the city is embedded with landmark marvels by some of the greatest known architects of our time. Located just 40 miles south of Indianapolis, the city is home to about 46,000 and is one of the most architecturally significant cities in America with masterwork buildings and landscapes by the likes of Eliel Saarinen, Eero Saarinen, Kevin Roche, I.M. Pei, Harry Weese, and Deborah Berke.

ACME and BWM design adaptable interiors for MM:NT apartment hotel

Modular furniture, app-operated doors and a self-serve bar are among the experimental ideas being trialled at MM:NT, a mini-hotel in Berlin that will constantly evolve in response to feedback from guests. Australian hotel group TFE Hotels worked with design strategist Philippa Wagner to develop the concept for a compact apartment hotel featuring interiors by architecture

Aluminum Grotto and Public Ground Installation / HAS design and research

Aluminum Grotto and Public Ground is a meticulously designed architectural work that integrates a three-dimensional interior, a permanent structure, and a craftsmanship façade surface. It was created on the 90th anniversary of The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA). Initiated by Thailand’s aluminum company S-ONE Group and KIN, the acclaimed architectural firm HAS Design and Research was commissioned for the design.

Haidong City Urban Planning Exhibition Hall / CADG

Located at the southwest corner of the Nanliang Relics Park in Haidong City, Qinghai Province, the Haidong Urban Planning Exhibition Hall integrates functions such as planning exhibitions, tourism reception, and relics display. The site of the ancient capital of the Nanliang Kingdom, one of the Sixteen Kingdoms, is on the main axis of Ledu District, Haidong City. The Nanliang Relics Park, which is designed by CADG, consists of a relics display area, a citizen activity area, and underground commerce, as well as an urban-planning exhibition hall.It is also called the “Central Park” of the core district of Haidong City.

Life Ladprao Valley Residential Building / Openbox Architects

This 44-story condominium, located directly opposite Central Ladprao, boasts a unique concept called “Hype Valley.” This concept offers a new and adventurous living experience through its signature pool and up to 15 lifestyle facilities. The lobby features a curved ceiling and an impressive sculpture above the entrance hall that mimics the form and pattern of a gorge.

It’s true that prior to this project, we had experienced entering the design and construction process as investors in a small part of a building. However, the motivation for independent construction spurred us to utilize our capabilities via a construction participation contract.
