​A small residential complex on the coast of the Baltic Sea. The concept is based on the Curonian architectural style, which inspired the design of a modern village with a small community, maintaining a respectful distance between its members. To express the uniqueness of the location, the architectural design was modeled after a fisherman’s house, featuring large sloped roofs and a rectangular building plan.

A large timber garden trellis screen wraps around a new two-story extension at the rear of the house. The screen attaches to the existing house, runs as a shading device in front of the north façade of the extension, and then bends around to form an outdoor living space.

Seven Island is a cafe on Gadeokdo Island, Busan, South Korea. Gadeokdo Island is located on the south coast, which is full of large and small islands, unlike the east coast, which overlooks the vast sea. The seven connected buildings are arranged on different axes, facing the seven islands surrounding each building, which allows us to capture a variety of landscapes and provide a different spatial experience.

Arkansas architecture studio Marlon Blackwell Architects has unveiled designs for an air traffic control tower for Columbus Municipal Airport in Indiana. At 129 feet tall (39 metres), the project will replace an existing 80-year-old, 78-foot-tall (23 metre) tower on the airport’s grounds. Designs include the addition of a lawn for public programming. Estúdio Campana adds living plant pavilions to São Paulo park
